Product description:
The Touchless Wash is a green low cost touchless Handwash technology for public shared spaces. The TW-20 Kit is unique in such a way that it is touchless and pedal less hence allows the user to Handwash for strictly 20 seconds while limiting contact with the spout. During use, an ultrasonic sensor detects one’s hands, which triggers release of a regulated amount of liquid soap just enough to make lather and a 20 second countdown digital sound beep. During the 20 second countdown, the user is expected to lather and scrub their hands adequately. After the 20 seconds, the beep automatically turns off compelling the user to collect water for rinsing.

The supplies such as twist bars and MS plates were obtained at a nearby market. During construction, operations such as marking out, metal piece cutting, bending, welding, drilling, grinding, assembling, and painting were performed. Local electronics stores in Kampala provide the electrical components. The procedure starts with circuit design, applying stickers to the copper board, designing the circuit on the board with laser machines, etching, removing the residual sticker, spaying the soldering mask, drilling, and soldering the various components.
